Mapy.cz is the most popular map web portal and mobile phone application in Czech Republic and is increasingly popular in other European countries as well. Map covers whole World. It is popular for its traditional visualization of maps as people know from paper form. With Mapy.cz you can search for places, plan routes, orient yourself and be navigated, save your trips and share your experiences with friends. Maps visualize OpenStreetMap data, texts are from Wikipedia, other structured information from Wikidata and most of photos from Wikimedia Commons.

In a presentation app and portal will be introduced and it will be shown how is used OpenStreetMap and other Open data.

Jakub Zmrzlík is the Mapy.cz product manager at Seznam.cz with 15+ years of experience in map companies. After a master's degree in cartography and geoinformatics at Charles University in Prague, he worked as a product and development manager at the Czech map company SHOCart and the traditional Austrian cartographic house freytag & berndt. At Seznam.cz he is in charge of managing the entire Mapy.cz product and its development.
